Janet Devlin Fansite - News, Pictures and Videos of Janet Devlin and X Factor
Now that Janet has finished the XFactor Tour 2012, she is free to accept her contract with RKA Records and start doing what she's wanted to do for the past year - Start producing her own made songs instead of just singeing cover's.
We have received news that her album may be released just before the end of Summer this year, giving her a good few months to record her songs she has pre-written.
We will update you as soon as we get any more news!
News has been confirmed that as soon as Janet was voted out of XFactor, Duncan Bannatyne (one of the Dragon's Den members) offered her to sign up with his record company RKA Records.
Bannatyne's Business partner quotes:
'She is destined for success and I'm sure RKA and Janet can have a great relationship and achieve great things together.'
Now Janet seem's more happier than ever that she quit the show, after saying:
'To me the sad thing about X Factor is that it's brought me down a lot, I was just covering other people's songs and it got to the point that I just felt like a karaoke artist every Saturday night.
'I just can't wait to get into a studio and do my own music and if it goes well and the people like it that's great, or if it turns into music that I like and it goes underground, it's completely fine.
'As long as I have the opportunity to do gigs and play my music and people enjoy it. That's what I want.'
But as Janet was still signed under the XFactor contract for the Tour and Charity single, she is not allowed to sign or release any of her own material with a different recording studio until her old contract is complete.
It's Week Three - To start off this week, Janet has a Press Conference and had to answer some on the spot questions about her being too shy and if she thought she had enough of the typical X Factor Package to continue in the competition. You sure do Janet! Anyway, she rocked the press!
And then...It's Rock Week on the live show too! Janet's here to rock out the stage and make it her own with the well known Sweet Child O' Mine.

Well it's the 2nd Weekend of Live Final's and the theme is 'Love is in the Air'. Janet has put on a fabulous performance of Can't Help Falling In Love With You.
Unfortunately, Janet did have some very bad family news of her Grandfather passing away this week so she vowed to sing her heart out in memory of him with this song.

So the first X Factor Twist of the year is upon us - and tonight we will see what damage it will do.
It has been confirmed that on tonight's show, 4 acts will be sent home. Yes that's right... 4 acts in one night! And the public won't even get a say in it.
Each judge will have to pick out one of their OWN acts who they believe to be the least likely to succeed. But with such a great group of singers, it's surely going to be one long day for the judges to decide who their going to send home.
